Concert
and Nat Barton Going Away Party
 |
Nat Barton |
The night
of Friday, September 26th, 2003 saw a concert at Harleywood
Cafe'. It was a going away
party for Nathaniel "Nat" Barton. The event was
the first inside performance at HWC. It was free to the
public and
all donations were given to Nat for his upcoming pilgrimage
to Africa, India and the Orient. Artists donating their
time included: Jimmy Dykann, Big Daddy Lee, Dr. Mike, Dead
Bob, Bo Hale, Harley III and Harley. Many of Nat's friends
stopped by to wish him farewell. We wish Nat the best and
look forward to his updates from the road.

Nathaniel "Nat" Barton,
a native of New York, arrived in the Roaring Fork Valley in
November of 2001. In January of 2002 he started at the former "82
Deli," now the Harleywood Cafe'. Nat is now taking his
second "round the world" trip. On his first trip,
he spent time in several Asian countries. On this trip he is
returning to India and Thailand. He's also headed to Ethiopia,
