Los Hitanos Concert Was Terrific

October 17th, 2003, saw our second concert at Harleywood Cafe'. The trio Los Hitanos played for three and one-half hours. The band consisting of Deborah Lasser on bass and lead vocals, Michael Meadows on guitar and vocals and Billy Jensen on drums provided our guests with a magical and musical evening. Deborah mixed Spanish, Cuban and English ballads, folk songs and just really good stuff, to present a truly delightful concert. As the evening progressed, the band was joined by local musicians including: Dead Bob, Big Daddy Lee, Jimmy Dykann, Carl Miranda, Tom McAuliffe and Harleywood himself. I hold all these musicians in high regard. I want to say a few things about a some of them. Deborah, thank you for your heartfelt presentation and true performing spirit. Billy Jensen is one of the most tasteful and dynamic drummers I have ever had the pleasure to be around. Carl Miranda provided incredibly tasteful and melodic harp playing. Thanks to you all.........Harley
